We started out by our founder's interest in learning about social elegance. In other words, he was getting old and instead of going out he found himself inviting people over for barbeques and letting the little minions run around. This involved smoking cigars every so often and sipping on fine whiskeys. Austin (our founder) started searching for unique barware, gift box collections for hosts, and humidors that wouldn't let his cigars dry out.

During this journey, Austin wasn't finding anything that was reasonably priced or unique. That's when Harder Five Ventures started. He wanted a one stop shop for all the unique essentials that he calls social elegance.
